Dr. Ankita Mukhopadhyay Biswas (b.1989)is working as an Assistant Professor (Plant Pathology) at Brainware University. She is former faculty of Jaipur National University and M.S Swaminathan School of Agriculture, Centurion University. She completed her B.Sc. (Agriculture), M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Plant Pathology) from BCKV, Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal. She is a recipient of Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowships during her academic career (2014-2018). She has done her Doctoral research work and investigation on Effect of crop canopy architecture on important foliar fungal disease dynamics of Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea. L) Topped AICTE-approved FDP course on Organic Farming for Sustainable Agricultural Production from IIT Kharagpur via NPTEL SWAYAM Aug 2022 securing 83%. She has been awarded with the Young Plant Pathologist Award by Vigyan Varta, An International E-Magazine for Science Enthusiast (2022). She has also cleared ASRB-NET in Plant Pathology (2016). She has published 4 Bookchapters,7 Research papers in reputed journals of National and International repute and participated in various National and International Conferences and Symposiums and presented her work as poster presentations in seminars. Her major field of work is Plant Pathology.
