Debika Nongmaithem did her graduation from College of Agriculture, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Manipur and post graduation and doctorate from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, West Bengal. At present she is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Agronomy, School of Agricultural Sciences, Medziphema, Nagaland since 2013. Her area of specialization is in weed management. She has published several research papers and articles in various journals. Along with active involvement in taking classes, she is also involved in delivering lectures for various trainings of agricultural workers and farmers.
