Dr. Lovedeep Sharma obtained her B.F.Sc in 2016 and M.F.Sc (Fishery biology) in 2018 from G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. She subsequently earned her Ph.D. in Fisheries Resource Management from the Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies in Kerala. Currently, she serves as a Project Associate I in a DBT-funded project at the College of Fisheries, G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Her primary research interests encompass fishery biology, inland fisheries, fish biodiversity, and planktonology. Dr. Lovedeep Sharma has a substantial academic record, with over eight published research papers, multiple popular articles, and presentations at numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and proceedings. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Best Paper Award at a National Seminar in 2022, organized by KUFOS and the Fisheries Department of the Government of Kerala. Additionally, she was honoured with the Young Scientist Award from the Scientific Educational Research Society, India. Dr. Lovedeep Sharma also plays an active role as a member of the editorial team for the IIP book titled "Futuristic Trends in Social Sciences" and has authored four book chapters.
