Dr. Mohit Kumar is currently serving as Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the Department of Agricultural Extension & Communication at Dr. Khem Singh Gill Akal College of Agriculture, Eternal University, Baru Sahib (H.P.). He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension from C.S.A. University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur. He obtained his M.Sc. (Ag.) in Extension Education from N.D. University of Agriculture & Technology, Faizabad and his B.Sc. (Ag.) from C.C.S. University, Meerut.

Dr. Kumar has made significant contributions to agricultural education, research and extension. He has published more than 50 research articles, book chapters, practical manuals and popular articles in reputed national and international journals and publications. His areas of interest include agricultural extension, rural development, knowledge & adoption level studiesand sustainable agricultural practices.

He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Bharat Harit Kranti Award, Best Young Faculty Award, Best PG Thesis Awardand Young Scientist Award. Dr. Kumar continues to contribute actively to academic excellence and rural development through teaching, research and extension activities.
