Dr. Ravi Dhanker is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry at R.S.M. College, Dhampur, Bijnor. He obtained his B.Sc. (Agriculture) from Amar Singh P.G. College, Lakhaoti, Bulandshahr, and completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry from Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology (CSAUAT), Kanpur. His research interests include soil fertility, remote sensing, and GIS technology. He has made significant academic contributions with the publication of 15 research papers, 8 book chapters with ISBN, and 5 popular articles in reputed national and international journals and magazines. He has been honored with two awards at national and international conferences/seminars for his academic and research contributions. Additionally, he has actively participated in more than 10 national and international conferences, seminars, and training workshops. Dr. Dhanker has also gained valuable professional experience outside academia. He worked as a Field Officer in the Soil and Land Use Survey of India, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, after being selected through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). He also served as a Senior Technical Officer at the National Horticulture Research and Development Foundation (NHRDF), Nashik, for one year. He possesses strong expertise in the fields of pesticide residue analysis, soil testing, remote sensing, and GIS applications in agriculture. His academic and professional journey reflects a blend of teaching, research, and field experience contributing to the advancement of agricultural sciences.
