Dupchen Tamang

The author holds a strong academic background in horticultural sciences, having completed his B.Sc. (Horticulture) in 2019 and M.Sc. (Horticulture) in 2021 from Sikkim University. During his postgraduate studies, he gained experience in research, field experimentation, and data analysis, leading to the publication of research articles, book chapters, and popular articles. He is also the holder of two patents, reflecting his innovative contributions to horticulture.

Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Vegetable Science at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV), Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal. His doctoral research focuses on the development and optimization of hydroponic systems, particularly in different lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) varieties, with the aim of improving yield, nutritional quality, and resource-use efficiency. He has also actively participated in national and international seminars and conferences, broadening his academic exposure and strengthening his engagement with the scientific community.
