Hasim Kamal Mallick is a dedicated and accomplished agricultural scholar with a strong academic and research background. He began his academic journey with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture and went on to complete his M.Sc. in Agronomy, where he earned a gold medal for his outstanding performance. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Agronomy at the Institute of Agricultural Science, University of Calcutta. He is actively involved in various research projects in collaboration with reputed research organizations. In addition to his research, Hasim has played a pivotal role in agricultural extension activities. He has trained more than 200 farmers through diploma courses, equipping them with scientific knowledge and modern farming techniques. Alongside his Ph.D. studies, Hasim also serves as a part-time guest teacher at Swadesh Ranjan Krishi Mahavidyalaya in West Bengal, where he shares his expertise and inspires the next generation of agricultural professionals.
