Mr. Soumik Dey Roy is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Agriculture, Brainware University, Barasat, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He obtained his bachelor degree in Agriculture from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya in 2020and master degree in Agriculture (Agricultural Entomology)from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya in 2022. His research interests are in insect ecology, arthropod population dynamics and integrated pest management.He also cleared his UGC-NET in June, 2024 in Environmental Sciences. He serves as one of the esteemed editors for the tri-monthly publication Krishi Shiksha, a distinguished book released by the Agricultural Technology Information Centre under the Department of Agriculture at Brainware University. He also serves as an assistant editor in the International Journal of Entomology Research and as reviewer in Acta Scientific Agriculture and International Journal of Insects.
