It is hoped that “Objective Fundamentals of Agriculture Biotechnology” will provide Under graduate students a basic study material on the various aspects of plant tissue culture, molecular genetics and fundamentals of biotechnology and attempts to explain the various breeding techniques and phenomenon in a simple and clear. During my thirty three years of teaching and research experience, I always felt insufficient teaching information in fundamentals of agriculture biotechnology books meant for under graduate level students. These books are not included all the plant tissue culture, molecular genetics and fundamentals of biotechnology as per the syllabus of ICAR- Sixth Dean’s Committee Recommendation. Therefore, we started to make my efforts to cope up with all these shortcomings.
