Dr. A.K. Pandey is working as Professor, in Department of Entomology, College of Agriculture, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture& Technology, Pantnagar. After completion of Gradation and Post-Graduation from D.D.U. University Gorakhpur. He joined Ph.D. programme in G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. Dr. Pandey started his career as Assistant Professor, in Sher-e- Kashmir University of Agriculture Science & Technology in year 2002. He has 17 years of experience in Research, Teaching and Extension in the field of Agriculture Entomology. He also shouldered the responsibilities of Officer In-charge Entomology Section of College of Forestry and Hill Agriculture, G.B. Pant University of agriculture and Technology, Hill Campus, Ranichauri (Tehri Garhwal).

He worked as Principal Investigator of All India Network Project on White grub and Other Soil Arthropods for more than 6 year besides many other project funded by NCIPM, ICAR etc. He designed area specific IPM strategy for management of White grub and Cutworm for Uttarakhand hills. He has published more than 60 research paper in journals of repute, 8 technical bulletins and one book and many farmer’s oriented literatures. Presently, Dr. Pandey is working Principal Investigator under All India Network Project on White grub and Other Soil Arthropods.
