Dr. Om Prakash is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Fruit Science, College of Horticulture at Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda, 210001 (U.P.). He did his B.Sc. (Agriculture) from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (U.K.); M.Sc. in Horticulture from Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya (U.P.); Ph.D. in Fruit Science from Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur (U.P.); Qualified ICAR- JRF and ASRB-NET. Author has more than 12 years of experience in the field of teaching, research & extension. 5 books, published 35 research papers, 15 book chapters and popular articles and 07 practical manuals. Guided 07 M.Sc. and 01 Ph. D. students as major advisor and 20 students as co-advisor. Received Appreciation award from Vice Chancellor, BUAT Banda in the year 2020 and 2023. Acting as co-coordinator for ICAR-JRF preperation cell in the University.
