Dr. Ravi Prakash Maurya has been serving as Assistant Professor, Department of Entomology, College of Agriculture, G. B.P.U.A.T, Pantnagar since 2007. Dr. Maurya has 12 years experience of teaching, research and extension in Agricultural Entomology. He has contributed in the field of biological control and pulse Entomology. His significant contributions includes development of superior strains of bio-agents, study of the natural enemies associated with apple, development of BIPM module for horticultural as well as field crops and popularization of IPM technology among vegetables growers of mid hills of Uttarakhand. He worked as Principal Investigator in different research projects funded by various govt. agencies.  He has published two books and 40 research papers.
