For B. Sc. (Ag.) Hons. Degree “Fundamental of Plant Pathology” is being taught as a compulsory subject. This book has been written as per the approved syllabus by 5th Deans’ committee report of ICAR. A syllabus framed on the basis of today’s knowledge needs revision after a few years since during the intervening period discoveries of new facts and development of new concepts have changed the face of existing knowledge.

We have tried our maximum to present the information correctly. Hope this text book would be useful for B. Sc. (Ag.) Hons. students. This will also be useful for those appearing in competitive examination such as ICAR PG (JRF) and civil services examinations.
